Although Telford Rural Polytechnic is
primarily involved in Agricultural training, for the last
nine years it has also offered training in Rural Fire and
Rescue courses. It does this by contracting in tutors, who
are specialists in the particular fields required.
Training is available throughout New Zealand, but
particularly in the Otago, Southland, Canterbury, Hawke's
Bay and Bay of Plenty regions. Many of our
courses are held here at Telford as it has excellent
training facilities for its courses, including a conference
room and several breakout rooms.
